New Delhi: United Kingdom Minister Graham Stuart on Saturday assured justice in the extradition of liquor baron Vijay Mallya while maintaining that due process in the case will move ahead.
When asked about UK’s help to India for Mallya’s extradition, Stuart said, “We don't comment on individual cases. We have one of the most respected legal systems in the world and anybody will be persisted to that, but it's not a heaven for those who break the law. We've close cooperation with India.
Due process will always go ahead and it will be ensured that justice is done.” Earlier today, Vijay Mallya was asked about his return to India to which he answered that it is for the judge to decide.
