Washington DC (USA): Voice of Karachi Chairman Nadeem Nusrat categorically accused Pakistan intelligence agencies for killing Mohajir lawmaker Ali Raza Abidi. In a hard hitting statement, Nusrat also his killing was not only due to his being an activist but because he was a Shia Muslim. In his attack on Pakistani military establishment, Nusrat said,
“Ali Raza Abidi’s assassination was masterminded by Pak intelligence agencies. Their hired mercenaries killed him. Ali raza abdi were warned over and over they wanted him to shut down his social media account, to stop critizising the high headedness of Pakistani military. He was maily attacked because he was a Shia Muslim.”
Abidi was prominent Mohajir political leader and former member of Pakistan’s national assembly. He was killed in Karachi by two gunmen riding on a motorbike outside his doorstep when he was returning from his office.
