New Delhi: India's Dutee Chand on Wednesday won a silver medal in women's 200m final after finishing second earlier in the 100m dash at the Asian Games.

Dutee was behind Bahrain’s Edidiong Odiong who clinched the gold in 22.96 as she crossed the finishing line in 23.20 seconds, while China’s Wei Yongli (23.27) won bronze.

The 22-year-old Odisha sprinter has displayed an outstanding show this time. She had missed the 2014 Commonwealth and Asian Games as she was now allowed to compete then under the IAAF’s hyperandrogenism policy.
