Leh: The 7th edition of Ladakh Marathon concluded on Sunday. The highest and known to be one of the toughest marathons, hosted four events from September 7 to September 9.
Nearly 6000 participants from 23 countries participated. The runners have to show up a week before for acclimatization due to high altitude to participate in the marathon.
The toughest race in the marathon is Khardung La Challenge of 72 Kilometer, which pushes the limits of even the toughest runners. Co-founder of the marathon, Chewang Motup Goba thanked locals for their contribution in making the event successful.
