Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in a recent address in Andhra Pradesh Assemble called the recently issued non-bailable arrest warrant against him a result of political conspiracy. Speaking on the same, he said that he will take a decision in two-three days on how to respond to the arrest warrant. Telugu Desam Party (TDP) blamed the arrest warrant in a 2010 case related to an agitation staged by the party over the Babli project across Godavari River, as a political conspiracy by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as well as Maharashtra.
Countering that, the BJP leaders claimed that notices are being served to Chandrababu since long time, in connection with the case. The TDP chief today clarified in the Assembly that he had not received any such notices earlier, except the recent one. CM Chandrababu Naidu further said, “If Modi could spare at least 5% of his love for Gujarat towards Andhra Pradesh, the state would have developed much more. Andhra Pradesh BJP leaders should change their mind, they should think of their motherland, but not of Modi.
Then only people will forgive them. The centre led by BJP is acting against Andhra Pradesh in vindictive manner. The centre is not giving special status to AP, nor fulfilling assurances given in the reorganization act. Modi is providing financial aid to industries in Gujarat though they are incurring losses, but not even looking at the profit making industries of Andhra Pradesh.
Tax exemptions to industries are announced but not being implemented. Vizag metro is kept aside on the name of lack of viability. The NDA govt is not paying heed to our request of international flights from AP capital. The PM is not resolving the issues between AP and Telangana, instead he is trying to create tussles between both the states. Though asked to increase the assembly constituencies for political stability, the centre did not approve.
The BJP is trying to threaten with cases as we are asking for funds. How can Modi say I have no maturity and KCR has more political maturity.
Modi is conspiring against the state with support of Jagan and Pawan Kalyan.
