New Delhi: Congress President Rahul Gandhi and opposition leaders started the march from Raj Ghat towards Ramlila Maidan to protest against fuel price hike. Leaders like Abhishek Singhvi, Randeep Singh Surjewala and Meira Kumar spoke against the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Centre, terming it as ‘munafa-khor company’.
Also, Party workers in Raipur district of Chhattisgarh staged a unique protest displaying men posing as demons named ‘mehngai dayain’. Meanwhile, the fuel price has once again spiked by 0.23paisa/litre on diesel and 0.22 paisa/litre on Petrol in Delhi on Monday.
Petrol is now at Rs 80.73/litre in Delhi and 88.12/litre in Mumbai. Diesel is at Rs 72.83/litre in Delhi and Rs 77.32/litre in Mumbai.
