Ahead of party meet, 'expelled' Alagiri claims to have support of Karunanidhi's loyalists

Just a day ahead of key party meeting, MK Alagiri, who was expelled from DMK in 2014, claims to have support of father's loyalists.

Chennai: In less than a week after DMK chief M Karunanidhi's death, the much-expected political feud has started. Just a day ahead of key party meeting, MK Alagiri, who was expelled from DMK in 2014, claims to have support of father's loyalists.

He said, "My father's true relatives are all are on my side. All the supporters in Tamil Nadu are on my side & are encouraging me only. Only time will give the answers that is all I am willing to say now."

Alagiri has been on the warpath with his brother MK Stalin and his late father over the heir issue since 2014.
