New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in China's Qingdao, where he is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The two leaders will take stock of the implementations of the decisions taken at the informal meet held recently in Wuhan.
PM Modi is expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings with leaders of other SCO countries. It is still not confirmed whether the prime minister will interact with Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain, who is also scheduled to attend the meeting in China.
The bilateral meeting between PM Modi and President Xi will be held on June 9, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said at a media briefing. Meetings with other leaders on the sidelines of SCO have also been finalised, he added.
