New Delhi: Devotees flocked New Delhi’s famous Jhandewalan Temple to offer prayers on the first day of Navratri. They offered prayers to Goddess Durga. The first day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Shailputri, one of nine forms of Goddess Durga.
Navratri is considered as most auspicious time of every year. The nine-day festival is celebrated with full fervor across the country. Special arrangements have been made in temple for the devotees.
The temple witnesses four times the number of devotees during these nine days.
