Dhemaji (Assam): After inaugurating the long pending Bogibeel Rail-cum-Road Bridge in Assam’s Dibrugarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday hailed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for speeding up infrastructural development projects in the country. He also accused the previous governments of leaving these projects pending.
While addressing the gathering, he said,
“Before 2014 nothing in the name of development was seen in the country except incomplete pillars. Our government is known for ‘Transportation to Transformation’. We have started various projects during our government which were delayed and now we have speeded up their work. We have removed the government which delayed developmental projects and this has provided speed to the infrastructural sector.”
