New Delhi: While reacting to Sajjan Kumar’s plea filed in the Delhi High Court asking for a month to surrender, HS Phoolka, advocate for 1984 anti-Sikh riot victims said that he will oppose the application tomorrow. He added that a caveat has been filed on behalf of one of the victims named Jagdish Kaur, meaning that whenever Sajjan Kumar files an appeal, they should be informed.
Earlier court had found Congress leader Sajjan Kumar guilty in 1984 anti Sikh riots. After that he was asked for a month’s time to surrender. His plea would be heard tomorrow.
