New Delhi: The death toll in the devastating rains in Kerala which has led to floods and landslides in the state has risen to 324.

#The CMO, in a tweet, said that 324 lives have been lost due to floods and around 223139 people are in about 1500 relief camps. It also stated that Kerala is facing its worst flood in 100 years.
#Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has asked scheduled domestic airlines to mount additional flights to Kerala after the closure of the Cochin airport.
#Airlines have been requested to cap the maximum fare around Rs 10,000 on longer routes and around Rs 8000 on shorter routes to or from Kerala and nearby airports.
#Around 2740 cartons were dispatched from Parassala's Rail Neer plant, while six trucks loaded with drinking water have already been pressed into service.
