Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Unemployment allowance (Yuva Nestam programme) will be launched in Andhra Pradesh, announced Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Unemployed youth will get a dole of Rs 1000 each under the programme. The programme aims at empowering youth by providing skill development, self employment opportunities.
CM Naidu while speaking in the assembly said that such schemes will motivate youth in the state and Andhra Pradesh will become the first state to implement such scheme.
“The State Government has been providing skill development training to 10 lakh youth and providing employment opportunities to youth and training partners from foreign countries have been roped in for betterment of the youth”.
Unemployed youth in the age bracket of 25-35 years are eligible to get their names registered in the Yuva Nestam programme.
