Air Quality remains ‘very poor’ in Delhi

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 381 on Monday

New Delhi: Air quality in national capital is currently in ‘very poor’ category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 381 on Monday. Delhi transport department had earlier banned the entry of heavy and medium goods vehicles in the city till today. 

Vehicles carrying vegetables, fruits, grains, milk, eggs, ice and other essentials, and tankers carrying petroleum products have been exempted from the ban.
