'May he lead a long life': PM Modi wishes Arvind Kejriwal on his birthday

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extended birthday wishes to Kejriwal.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday took it to Twitter to wish Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal on his birthday. Delhi Chief Minister turned 50 on Thursday.

"Birthday greetings to Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal Ji. May he lead a long and healthy life," PM Modi tweeted. Replying to the prime minister's wishes, Kejriwal tweeted: "Thank you so much sir." 

Senior leaders and politicians also poured in their wishes on social media. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extended birthday wishes to Kejriwal.

"Wishing @ArvindKejriwal ji a very happy birthday. Wish you good health and many more years in the service of the nation," tweeted Abdullah.
 
Actor Riteish Deshmukh, music composer Vishal Dadlani also wished the chief minister.

"Wishing Delhi CM @ArvindKejriwal ji a very happy birthday - Happy, healthy and long life. May you continue to do the good work & be the force that stands by its people," Riteish Deshmukh tweeted.
