New Delhi: Days after Centre provided relief to countrymen by announcing reduction on fuel prices, petrol and diesel prices on Sunday witnessed fresh hike in the national capital. Residents of Delhi and Mumbai in one voice expressed their disappointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government.
The petrol price increased by 14 paisa per litre whereas diesel increased by 29 paisa per litre in the national capital. After the hike, petrol is being retailed at Rs 81.82 per litre and diesel is being retailed at Rs 73.53 per litre in Delhi.
Country’s commercial capital Mumbai witnessed a hike of 14 paisa and petrol is being sold at Rs 87.29 per litre, however, the price of diesel has increased by 31 paisa and it is being retailed at Rs 77.06 per litre.
