New Delhi: Yamaha has teased a new variant of the YZF-R15 V3 that comes with a livery that draws inspiration from Yamaha's MotoGP bike, the YZF-M1.
The Yamaha YZF-R15 V3 MotoGP edition sports the standard blue and black colour scheme with the Movistar and bears ENEOS logos.
Movistar is a telecommunications company, while ENEOS os a petroleum firm. Both the companies have been associated with Yamaha's MotoGP team since a long time.
The bike also has the Yamalube logo on the side fairing. Mechanically, the bike remains the same and has only received cosmetic changes.
It draws its juice from a 155cc, single-cylinder, engine that produces 18.7bhp and 15Nm of torque. The engine gets a variable valve actuation (VVA) technology and is mated to a six-speed gearbox with slipper and assist clutch.
