New Delhi: TVS Motor Company has launched a new 110cc motorcycle - Radeon - in India with a price tag of Rs 48,400. The company says that the bike has been designed for the discerning, productive Indian, located in the small towns of India.
The TVS Radeon is equipped with a 109.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 8.4PS at 7,000rpm and 8.7Nm at 5,000rpm. The company claims that the fuel economy of the bike is 69.3kmpl.
The bike houses a new single downtube frame with the engine as a stressed member. According to TVS, the bike has been designed to provide comfort during long distance riding.
The telescopic suspension and 5-step adjustable, twin shock absorbers have also been tuned to offer a good balance between ride quality and handling, the company added.
TVS claims that Radeon is the first bike in the segment to get Synchronized Braking Technology or SBT. Available in four colour options, the TVS Radeon comes with a five-year warranty.
