New Delhi: The 2018 Suzuki Bandit, a new commuter bike, has been unveiled at the 2018 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. The Suzuki Bandit 150 is based on the GSX-S150 and is the equivalent of Gixxer for the Indonesian market.
The Bandit borrows the diamond frame from the sportier GSX-S150 but sports a different subframe to accomodate the single-piece seat. The bike features a sculpted tank, edgy tank extensions, sharp-looking LED headlamp setup and the engine cowl, giving it a youthful appeal.
The digital instrument console is same as the Gixxer. The Suzuki Bandit 150 gets its power from a 147.3cc fuel-injected liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The bike sits on telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock.
