New Delhi: Mitsubishi Motors has launched the new-generation Outlander SUV with automatic transmission in India at Rs 31.95 lakh (ex showroom, Mumbai).
The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander competes with Toyota's Fortuner, Volkswagen's Tiguan and Honda's CR-V. The SUV gets its power from a 2.4-litre, naturally aspirated, four-cylinder petrol engine which offers 167PS of peak power and 222Nm of torque.
The Outlander SUV comes with an advanced CVT automatic transmission with paddle shifters. It also features a new auto light control LED headlight, dual zone AC air filters, electric parking brake, power tilt and sliding sunroof, rain sensing wipers, and a keyless operation system.
As far as safety is concerned, the SUV has seven airbags, ABS with EBD, BA, ASC and HSA.
The Mitsubishi Outlander comes in a seven-seat version and sports LED headlamps with LED DRL, LED fog lamps, anti-tapping sunroof, rain sensing wipers, heated mirrors, 16-inch alloy wheels and LED rear combination lamps.
Inside, Mitsubishi Outlander comes with leather seats, leather gearshift knob, electronic parking brake, 6.1-inch central display and Rockford sound system with a 710-watt amplifier.
