New Delhi: German motorcycle maker BMW Motorrad has launched the G 310 R and G 310 GS in India. While the BMW G 310 R comes at a price tag of Rs 2.99 lakh, its adventure variant G 310 GS is priced at Rs 3.49 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
The official bookings opened on June 8, 2018. BMW had showcased the G 310 R and G 310 GS at the Auto Expo 2018. The G 310 was first unveiled in India at the Auto Expo 2016.
BMW Motorrad has developed the G 310 GS in Germany, while it is built at the TVS plant in Hosur, India, just like the G 310 R.
Both the bikes come packed with a 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder unit with four valves and a DOHC cylinder head. The engine delivers 34hp of power and 28Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
